Delivery & Assembly
Two Person Delivery
Note: For residential deliveries, the customer will be notified with a phone call from the shipping company before the kit is delivered to them
Idea of what the kit will look like before shipping from our warehouse for delivery
When the pallet reaches the customer's local terminal, the shipping company will contact the customer to set up delivery
Pieces are packed onto the pallet individually. After the bands are cut from the pallet, the kit can be unloaded piece by piece
Customer is responsible for providing a minimum of two people at the time of delivery to help unload the kit
Delivery driver is not required to help unload the kit
Kit is unloaded!
Assembly
Depending on the size of the building and skill level, assembly will take several days to finish. The precut kit comes with everything precut, labeled, primed and ready to assemble. You will need to provide shingles, drip edge and paint - a quantity list will be provided.
Step 1: Floor
Purchase an optional floor kit from Little Cottage Co. or purchase supplies from your local home improvement store.
Step 2: Walls
Assemble the walls with the pre-cut parts provided.
Step 3: Roof
Install the trusses and sheathing.
Step 4: Shingles
Install drip edge and roof shingles (not included, available at local hardware store).
Step 5: Windows
Install windows (provided with the kit).
Step 6: Trim
Install the trim included in the kit.
Step 7: Door
Install the door
Step 8: Paint

Wry easy to build
The only negative i can say is the instructions of the side panels and frame on mine could have been a little clearer. The markings on the wood were exact. I still double measured to verify. The nails that are shipped with this are junk though. Still, for the money this is a great shed. Ive done all I can do by myself and it took only about 9 total hours. I should have the rest done In 3 more. Use a nail gun. It makes the job so much faster.

Shocking quality of the floor joists
I unpacked the value workshop shed today and was shocked by the poor quality of the floor joists. Eleven of the twelve 93" lengths were either moldy, rotten, split and/or (in most cases) not the full width or depth due to the corners being missing on account of the board being cut from the edge of the tree. I have photographs I can provide. I would appreciate a quick reply because there is no way I can use the joists supplied.

Nice shed with a few caveats.
I found this shed to be well designed and engineered. All the parts fit. The instructions are excellent. Yes, there were a few boards that were either warped, or bowed, or twisted, or knotty, but in the main, the lumber was sound. I did have to buy additional lumber, but I knew that I would for two reasons: first, the bottom and top plates were not 12’ pieces (an 8’ and a 4’ due to packaging constraints) and second, Little Cottage designed the structure on 24” centers. I vastly prefer 16”. And finally, I would make a suggestion. I purchased a third window and I wish that I had thought to request no cutouts for the windows. Because I am moving the door to the left side neither window cutout works; thus I am forced to buy additional pieces of smartside. Otherwise, I have no complaints and would recommend the product.
